Accolades

Here are some snippets of what others are saying about their events at the Lareau Farm Inn:

“What an unforgettable weekend, couldn’t have had a better time, spent with amazing people, friends and family. We couldn’t have picked a better place to have our wedding. Thank you all so much for your hard work.” Megan + Zach, Fall 2012

“The parents surprised us this year for Christmas with 3 nights at Lareau. We were overcome with emotion knowing that we were returning to the magical place where we were married. Lareau will forever be a special place in our hearts. We will be return many more times. Love, Eric & Karyn” Winter 2012

“Hi Lisabeth – First and foremost, we wanted to pass along a gigantic THANK YOU for
all the caring guidance, loving attention, and expertise you offered,
that resulted in our amazing wedding on July 23! What a fantasic,
magical day…it’s like this sacred circle was drawn around the whole
weekend and all the people there, and we’ll always have such gratitude
for you. Thank you.” JB & Celia, Summer 2011

“We cannot thank you enough for the fantastic welcome party that you put on.  Everyone loved it! They said that it could have been the wedding.  The food was spectacular. I am famous for my apple pies but I was more impressed with yours!  Of course the pizza was scrumptious and I love how you cut it so that people can sample all the varieties.  The ever evolving salad was a huge hit with the strawberries and nuts.  I did not even get back to the s’mores, but I learned that they too were beyond belief with the Lindt chocolate squares. You have definitely not seen the last of the Pratt/Stitzer brigade.  The Lareau Farm has become one of our favorite places.”  Kendra Pratt, Summer 2010

“The Green Mountains and the quiet towns provide solace from my over-commercialized hometown in the suburbs of Philadelphia. If I stay away for too long, a void develops in my heart that only American Flatbread and the Waitsfield Farmers’ Market can replace.” Caroline Nawrocki, excerpt from Vermont Magazine

One of our favorite wedding blogs, Style Me Pretty, showcased photos from Dreamlove Photography of a wedding held at the Lareau Farm Inn.  Here are just a few!  (To view the entire gallery, visit Style Me Pretty and read about this “rustic yet elegant” affair.)

“The reception, upon first glance looked rustic, but elegant.  They used basic white tablecloths and simple flatware, but they filled almost every empty space with the most gorgeous and colorful flowers, laced with feathers and dried grasses.  Ball jars filled with flowers even hung from the ceiling!  They folded little wild flowers into the napkins on the plates, and used muted colored paper instead of table runners…”

“Emily & Peter got married here…friends, family and the Bride & Groom all agreed that there is no finer place. Everything was perfect, greatest party ever!” September 25, 2010

“To all the warm wonderful folks here. Thank you a thousand times for taking such good care of us and our loved ones this week. We were grateful for your hospitality, Everyone felt comfortable and content here. We could not have asked for a better experience. Love, Diana & Joe” August 2011
